How Shocks & Struts Control Motion

Shocks and struts contain pistons moving through oil-filled cylinders to resist suspension travel. As wheels move up and down, pistons force hydraulic fluid through calibrated openings, converting motion energy into heat. What Causes Shock & Strut Failure
